About

Ever since I saw my first hemi cuda in 1979 I have been hooked on Mopars and e-bodies in particular! E-bodies refers to the Plymouth barracuda or Cuda which is the performance car and the Dodge challenger RT, the Dodge counterpart. This particular lemon twist hemi cuda was optioned with a mind blowing pistol grip four speed shifter, leather interior with overhead consolette and a massive shaker hood. The rear end of the car, wide and sloping was awe inspiring. The engine bay with that massive 426 hemi was incredible. Standing still I was blown away. When they started it up, how and why were my first two comments. It was love at first sight. And at the time I didn’t even realize there was a 1971 cuda with a few not so subtle changes that made others like me even crazier for that year cuda. These cars were built by Chrysler to compete with the Chevy Camaro and the Ford Mustang. Interesting enough my first muscle car was a 1969 Camaro Z28 rally sport four speed with a rally gauge cluster and the awesome cowl hood. All black with no stripes painted on it and the original motor stroked and tricked out with all LT1 components and other race goodies. It made for an awesome first musclecar. When I asked my Dad who bought me the car why he bought it for me he simply replied; When I was your age my father bought me a car. Worked for me. Little  did he know at the time, the car with 4.56 gears and that mighty  mouse motor could just about get the front end off the ground. My site focuses on my passion for the Plymouth and Dodge cars because of their incredible variety of colors and options. From the very first moment I saw that lemon twist cuda in 1970, I knew I was hooked.. I just didn’t know how bad at the time. Do I wish I had heeded friends advice to buy Shelby cobras, Ferraris,L88 corvettes and other rare performance cars? Sure I do but hindsight is always 20/20. My advice is always collect and buy what you like. If that happens to be a sports car, a convertible top and the companies biggest baddest engine they produce, chances are your on the right track! This site and all the pics and history of the cars is a work in progress.. I will continue to edit and add to each cars history. Many of the cars have been painstakingly restored, and each has its own story to tell.
